Mysterious Shards are collectibles in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. In total you can find 10 Mysterious Shards. There are two in each region. You can exchange collected shards for several rewards. Where to Find Mysterious Shards in AC Mirage?
In total, you can find 10 Mysterious Shards in AC Mirage. In each of the five regions (Harbiyah, Wilderness, al-Abbasiyah, al-Karkh, Round City) you will find two shards. On the in-game map, the locations of the Mysterious Shards are marked with a gold shard symbol.
You can find the Mysterious Shards from certain NPCs who have them with them and are also protected by guards. To get the Mysterious Shard from one of these NPCs, you can either steal from them or kill them. The NPCs patrol fixed paths. Because they are constantly moving, their exact location may vary. However, they always come back to the same place. The following screenshot shows such a PC with Mysterious Shard:
Note: You can only find the Mysterious Shards once you have eliminated al-Ghul. Then talk to Nihal and you should now be able to collect the shards. If a shard doesn’t spawn, you have to continue playing the story.

Where Can I Exchange the Mysterious Shards For Rewards?
You can find mysterious shards in the Chamber under the oasis exchange for rewards. The quest “The Calling” will take you to this place. At “The Calling” your objective is to find a hidden place. This hidden place is the Chamber under the oasis. Check out our guide to The Calling in AC Mirage to learn more about the location and how to find it.
Once you reached the the Chamber under the oasis you can place Mysterious Shards in one of the 3 pedestals. Each pedestal requires a different amount of shards to unlock its reward.
What Rewards Are Available For Mysterious Shards in AC Mirage?
In exchange for Mysterious Shards, you will receive the following rewards in the chamber beneath the oasis:

You will receive all 3 items fully upgraded immediately. Milad’s outfit is particularly interesting here. If you compare it to the other Assassin’s Creed Mirage outfits, Milad’s outfit is a very strong outfit that can also be obtained very early in the game.
If you haven’t found 10 Mysterious Shards yet, you can return to the hidden site at a later date and collect the remaining rewards.
In addition to the rewards, the Mysterious Shards are also required for 100% completion of all areas. For this you will also receive one of the AC Mirage Trophies: For the silver “Explorer” trophy you have to fully explore all areas.
