Announced: A third temple to be built in Salt Lake Valley announced Oct. 2, 2004; city announced Nov. 21, 2004.

Location: 14065 Canyon Vista Lane, Draper, Utah 84020.

Site: Approximately 12 acres, including adjacent meetinghouse.

Exterior finish: Temple white granite from China.

Temple design: Center spire.

Architect: FFKR Architects.

Project manager: Evan Nelson.

Contractor: Okland Construction.

Rooms: Baptistry, celestial room, two sets of two ordinance rooms, five sealing rooms.

Total floor area: 58,300 square feet.

District: More than 60,000 members of the 25 stakes in the Draper area.

Groundbreaking, site dedication: Aug. 5, 2006, by President Gordon B. Hinckley, with his counselors President Thomas S. Monson and President James E. Faust.

Dedication: March 20-22, 2009, by President Thomas S. Monson; 12 sessions.

Dedicatory prayer excerpt: We are grateful for the completion of this, Thy Holy House.
