ORIGIN
Kevin Hart is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. He was born to parents Nancy Hart and Henry Witherspoon on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother and he has an older brother named Robert. Hart attended George Washington High School and later work as a shoe salesman. He started out doing stand-up comedy under the moniker ‘Lil Kev’.

CAREER
After much struggle, Hart became successful using his own unique comedic style drawn from real-life experiences. His comedy tours include ‘I’m a Grown Little Man (2009), ‘Seriously Funny (2010)’ and ‘Laugh at My Pain’ (2011). He won a BET Award for Best Actor in 2012 for ‘Laugh at My Pain’.

Hart made his movie debut in the 2002 urban crime comedy film, Paper Soldiers. He followed up more prominent roles in films like ‘Think Like a Man’, ‘Ride Along’, and ‘Get Hard’. He co-created the reality series, Real Husbands of Hollywood which premiered on BET in 2013. The show was successfully renewed for a fifth season in January 2016.
