Glenn Beck is an American television & radio host, producer, author, entrepreneur and CEO of Mercury Radio Arts. He’s best known for hosting the conservative Glenn Beck talk show on radio and television. Beck was born to parents Mary and William on February 10, 1964 in Everett, Washington. He was one of three children. Beck grew up in Mount Vernon, WA. After his mom passed, he was forced to move to Bellingham, WA to stay with his father. There he attended Sehome High School.

CAREER
Beck landed his first on-air job as a guest DJ for a local radio station. After graduating high school he worked briefly with the station KAYK in Provo, Utah, followed by WPGC in Washington, D.C. Beck worked as lead DJ at WRKA in Louisville, Kentucky, from 1985 to 1987. He’s since worked with stations like Y-95 (Phoenix), KRBE (Houston), B104 (Baltimore), and KC101 (New Haven). The Glenn Beck Program premiered on WFLA (AM) in 2000. The show began syndication to multiple stations in 2002 by Premiere Radio Networks. Beck is ranked among top radio personalities like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

Beck founded the multimedia platform company, Mercury Radio Arts, in 2002. He’s also the founder of ‘Mercury One’ and ‘TheBlaze Studios’. The Glenn Beck TV program ran on CNN (2006-08), Fox News Channel (2009-11), and TheBlaze (2011-present).
The show covered events like the 9/11 attacks, hurricane Katrina, and the 2008 presidential election. Beck has written several books, including 6 New York Times Bestsellers. He’s also won a number of awards, including the 2013 Gene Burns Memorial Award for Freedom of Speech.
